Terms, Payments & Cancellation Policy

1. Who you're dealing with

Orchid Room Script Services is operated by Orchid Room Productions Private Limited, Faridabad, Haryana, India — GSTIN 06AACCO0104A1ZH. Contact: sunilrpappu@orchidroomproductions.com. All work is performed and personally verified by Sunil Pappu.

2. Services and delivery times

Coverage in 48 — written script coverage, delivered within 48 hours of payment and receipt of your script PDF.
Feature Pitch Package — loglines, synopsis, treatment, positioning, query letter; 7–14 days.
Series Pitch Deck (and optional Series Treatment add-on) — channel-ready pitch document; 7–14 days.
Writers' Cohort — six-week group program, governed additionally by its signed Participation & Release Agreement.

If a promised deadline is at risk, you will be told before the deadline with a new delivery time. If the new time doesn't work for you, you may cancel at that point for a full refund of the affected work.

3. Prices, GST and invoicing

All INR prices displayed on the services page are inclusive of GST. A GST invoice is issued for every payment.
Overseas clients pay in USD; as a zero-rated export of services, no GST applies to overseas invoices.

4. Payment options, including EMI

Indian payments are collected by secure payment link (UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking).
EMI is available on the Feature Pitch Package and Series Pitch Deck at 3, 6, 9, or 12 months on supported credit cards and debit-card EMI, where your bank supports it. Interest is set by your bank and shown at checkout before you confirm; eligibility and tenures depend on your bank.
The EMI arrangement itself is between you and your card/UPI provider once the payment link is paid; eligibility and tenures shown at checkout depend on your bank.
Where EMI is not available to you, a staged payment plan may be agreed in writing instead (for example: Package 50% to start / 50% on delivery; Deck 40% / 30% at mid-draft / 30% on delivery; Cohort ₹5,000 at enrolment + ₹4,999 before Session 3). A missed stage pauses work until paid; final files are delivered on final payment.
Coverage in 48 is a single full payment (it delivers within 48 hours).
Overseas payments are by PayPal in USD.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Refunds are made to the original payment method within 7 business days of confirmation. For EMI purchases, the refund goes back through the payment provider to your card/UPI account; your bank then closes or adjusts the EMI per its own process.
Every tier includes one round of follow-up questions after delivery. Deliverables are written documents; rewrites of your script and ongoing consulting are not included.

6. Your script, your rights

Your script and materials remain entirely yours. Nothing you send acquires any rights for Orchid Room.
Your script is read for your report only — never shared with any third party, never used for any other purpose, and never used to train any system. Files are deleted after the engagement concludes.
Reports and pitch documents prepared for you are yours to use freely.

7. Similar and independent material

Ideas, genres, themes, settings, titles, premises, historical events, and common or stock situations are not by themselves protectable — only the specific expression of a work is.
Sunil Pappu is a working screenwriter with an existing slate of scripts and projects, and continues to develop new material. Some of that material may naturally resemble ideas, themes, or elements in scripts submitted for coverage or in other writers' work.
By submitting a script you accept that you will not bring a claim against Orchid Room or Sunil Pappu based on similarity alone — including any claim that our past, present, or future work was derived from your script. This does not permit, and does not limit your remedies for, actual verbatim copying of your written pages.
Coverage notes are a professional opinion you may use, ignore, or act on freely; giving you notes creates no co-authorship, partnership, or financial interest for Orchid Room.

8. What this service is not

This is a craft and development service. It does not include, and does not promise, representation, introductions, sale, commissioning, or production outcomes. It is not an agency, packaging, or brokerage service.

9. Privacy

Your name, contact details, and payment records are used only to deliver and invoice the engagement and to meet legal (GST) record-keeping requirements. No marketing lists, no data sharing, no analytics trackers on these pages.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Faridabad, Haryana. If any clause is unenforceable, the rest stand. Emailing your script and paying for a tier constitutes acceptance of these terms.
